Dr. Stacy Tam, from Boxborough, Massachusetts was a four-time varsity letter winner in high school and captain of the Acton-Boxborough’s state championship swim team. She went on to graduate cum laude from University of Massachusetts at Amherst, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in psychology.
Dr. Tam also competed on UMass’s women’s swimming and diving team. Other organizations that she proudly participated in were the ALANA (African, Latino, Asian/ Pacific Islander & Native American) Diversity and Opportunity Program and ULARC (United Learning Asia Resource Center). Through these programs she donated valuable time and patience to mentor other students in their studies.
Dr. Tam then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California where she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. She also was one of the few chosen to participate in the Palmer Clinic Abroad Program in Brazil, a program that travels with senior- level students to underserved populations to broaden their clinical, educational, and cultural experiences.
Dr. Tam has postgraduate certifications both in Active Release Technique™ (ART) and Activator Proficiencies. She has training in rehabilitation, nutrition, and pediatric chiropractic. Techniques that she utilizes include Flexion/Distraction, SOT, Diversified, Thompson Drop, and Activator. These techniques allow her to respectfully treat from infant to elderly and a number of different ailments.
Dr. Tam enjoys working with people of all ages. She strongly believes in taking a proactive approach to healthcare, through educating and encouraging patients to reach their optimal health goals. When she is not helping patients in the office, Dr. Tam enjoys fitness, arts and crafts, and spending quality time with her family.
